Seals are warm-blooded mammals that live most of their lives in the water. They breed and care for their babies on land, but hunt and feed most of their lives in the ocean. There are two groups of seals, earless seals (true seals), which wiggle and roll on the land, and eared seals, sometimes called sea lions or fur seals, which can walk on front flippers.
