Rockhopper penguins are members of the crested penguins. They are specialists at hopping long distances up the face of cliffs—sometimes 30 meters (100 ft). Rockhoppers are found on islands near Antarctica. They are carnivores that eat small sea animals such as fishes, krill, and squid.
